Classroom Motivation System
As part of learning our classroom routine and expectations, while creating a positive learning environment, we will be implementing our classroom motivational system. Students will earn a ‘duck’ for demonstrating a specific excellent behavior. These behaviors may include helping a friend, listening nicely to a story, following directions or our preschool life skills to name a few.
Each time the student earns a duck, he or she will place the duck in their pond. When the student earns 5 ducks, he or she will be able to take a prize from our treasure chest. The ducks that the student earned will be added to a classroom pond to work towards a class wide reward. This system will evolve and change slightly throughout the course of the year to keep the students invested in earning ducks. If you have any questions please email or call me.
